CoC –NRL Code of Conduct.
Field of Play – the area which is demarcated, line marked or otherwise identified as an area on which a game of rugby league subject to this Policy is being played.
Match Official – Those undertaking the role of Referee, Ground Manager, Touch Judge or other role as defined under the NSWRL Policies and Procedures, NRL On Field Policy and Local By Laws and who are fulfilling that role at the time of the offence during a game of rugby league which is being played and to which this Policy applies.
Match Official Report – any report submitted by a Match Official which is used to notify the relevant League or NSWRL of an offence and/or potential offence which occurs during a game of rugby league which is being played and to which this Policy applies.
Offender – any individual charged with any offence under Code of Conduct and/or the NSWRL Offences Index or other NSWRL or League policy to which this Policy applies.
Off Field – any area outside the Field of Play or Playing Area.
Playing Area – the area which is demarcated, line marked or otherwise identified as the area immediately surrounding the Field of Play and where Team Officials, Match Officials and Players are located immediately before, during and immediately after a game of rugby league which is subject to this Policy. This includes the team bench area and any area occupied by Team Officials who are not On-Field.
Player – an individual who is actively participating in a game of rugby league subject to this Policy (regardless of whether the Player is On-Field or Off-Field at the time of the offence).
Spectator – Any observer of a game of rugby league, which is being played at the time of any offence, to which this Policy applies.
Team Official – Trainers, Coaches, Team Managers or other like persons as defined under the Laws of the Game, NSWRL Policies and Procedures, NRL On Field Policy and Local By Laws who is at the time of the offence, fulfilling a role in relation to a game of rugby league which is being played and to which this Policy applies.
