It is essential for all coaches to complete an age-appropriate Coaching Accreditation before they can take to the field in that role. The Coaching accreditation process is made up by two components:
Online Modules
The Community Coach eLearning modules are the first component of any NRL Community Coaching accreditation course. Visit the NRL's Learning Centre to find the age-appropriateappropriate online modules.
The completion of the online modules will grant a coach an initial Community Coach accreditation set to expire of the 30th June of that year.
Coaches of League Tag teams can also complete the League Tag specific e-Learning module located in the NRL's Learning Centre.
Face to Face Workshops
The Community Coach Face to Face Workshop is the second and final component of all Community Coach accreditations. Once completed, a coach will be granted an accreditation extension for four seasons (expiry will be the 1st November) and become eligible to complete online reaccreditation courses in future.
Upcoming Face to Face workshops across the state can be found on the NRL's Learning Centre.
Reaccreditations
Any coach who has an expired coaching accreditation is eligible to complete an online re-accreditation. Course links can be found on the Play Rugby League website.
